With a successful land and construction surveying career already under his belt, James soon discovered a passion and talent for business management.
That hands on, in-the-field surveying experience was invaluable as James transitioned into the growth, management, and strategy side of business. Having experienced the successes of rapidly growing a business in a previous role, and overcoming the “growing pains” associated with this, it was the opportunity to apply this experience to a relatively young business that attracted James to McKenzie & Co.
“It was the people and reputation of McKenzie & Co. that first got my interest, but it was the culture and flexibility afforded to the role of business development manager that sealed the deal.” says James.
“I find building a strong foundation in a business through the creation and execution of business strategies, followed by business development gives me great satisfaction in what I do. I look forward to making a measurable different to McKenzie & Co. as they growth over the foreseeable future.”
Outside of work hours you’ll find James spending quality time with his family, having adventures and making memories with his two young children, socialising with friends and playing sports.
