THE ENVIRONMENT

We are working towards ISO certification for Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management
We aim to minimise air, water and soil pollution by designing and building systems to reduce the impact of human encroachment on the natural environment
We ensure that resource use is considered over a sufficiently long timescale so that present and future generations are not disadvantaged by excessive and unnecessary consumption
We aim to eliminate, reduce or manage demand for materials used to avoid the production of waste on all projects
We encourage staff to respect the environment by utilising appropriate operating procedures and training and by providing information concerning the storage, handling, distribution, use and disposal of hazardous substances
We will provide information about identified potential environmental hazards to relevant clients, authorities, employees, and other affected organisations
Where possible, we will suggest materials and products that are made from renewable, sustainably acquired materials; have recycled content; are durable; are low maintenance; are non-toxic or low toxic; are recyclable; and are low polluting in manufacture, shipping, and installation
Where possible we will design for disassembly of materials and systems
We use our knowledge of sustainable transportation to educate and suggest alternatives
We will endeavor to protect water sources (including groundwater) from contamination
